Elk Hunts
Early Season
Hunts...
Imagine a crisp, clear, September morning if you will, listening to several bulls bugling in the distance. As you get
closer, their primal screams become increasingly louder and resonate through your body; you’re also close enough to
smell their musty odor. Your experienced guides position you within some cover and retreat behind your position to begin
a calling sequence while reminding you to be ready, what you have been waiting for is about to happen. You hear your
guides behind you calling to the bull who is only 100 yards from where you are. His bugles seem to be getting closer
as you wait in great anticipation for what is to come…and then you see him. Walking directly towards you is the
bull of your dreams, at 50 yards you begin to shake with excitement, then take a deep breath and draw your bow; he is coming
in fast. As the bull veers to your right you let out a single, soft cow call and stop him at only 25 yards, he looks
in your direction and you release. The arrow is perfectly placed and you are able to see your bull go down after traveling
only 50 yards…The trophy and the memories are yours forever!
Late Season Hunts...
On a late November morning you clear away a little snow to sit and glass a canyon your guides have scouted and determined
there to be some
nice bulls using the area. A couple hours have flown by with multiple bulls having been glassed and passed, but confidence
is high as you recall the pictures of large bulls from scouting trips to the area that were e-mailed to you from
your guide. With his eyes glued to his tripod mounted binoculars your guide asks if you’d like to take a look
at a particular bull, he is a “shooter”. After confirming he is a bull you would like to harvest, you and
your guide traverse the first canyon to get into position for a shot as you crest the second. At 150 yards the bull
stands among two others feeding on a small bench as you rest your rifle on your pack getting ready for the shot. You
think to yourself briefly “is this really happening, it’s only opening day” as you click off the safety.
After a deep breath you take aim and slowly squeeze the trigger. The bull drops in his tracks…YES!!

Deer Hunts
Rifle Hunts…
You and your guide have been on the trail under the cover of darkness for about 45 minutes, gaining elevation to reach a glassing
spot overlooking several ridges that filter into a main canyon. Arriving at the top there is still about 20 minutes
until it is light enough to glass effectively, so small talk ensues between you and your guide about the game plan. Knowing
the bucks will be feeding on the ridges and then filter into the canyon to bed you go over possible routes to intercept bucks that will be glassed up. After glassing for a while your guide says “I’ve got a shooter”. Side
hilling to reach a small drainage that will put you into position for a shot, the anticipation builds. You set up to
glass again and relocate the buck; he has bedded under a juniper and is relaxed, chewing his cud. At 250 yards this
cross canyon shot should be easy, thanks to your pre-season practice sessions. Using your tripod as a rest,
you take aim and fire. The buck is hit hard and dies in his bed.
Archery Hunts…
After watching a group of does and small bucks for a couple hours, the bucks in the group begin to get a little nervous. Knowing
a couple big bucks have been using the area you and your guide wait with anticipation to see what is to unfold. From
a thicket of mesquite a mature buck enters the scene and quickly runs off the smaller bucks, you know instantly this is
YOUR buck. After discussing the best route to the rutting deer you take off quickly at first to get to a wash to use
as cover. At a snails pace you make your way closer to the deer, keeping the wind in your face, staying out of sight
and making little or no noise as you become one with your environment. You’re within 75 yards now as the buck
is pushing does, your arrow is knocked and you’re ready. The doe that has the buck’s attention turns your
way with the buck in tow, slowly you draw and wait. At 35 yards both of them stop long enough for you to put an arrow
in the buck’s lungs. He leaps and takes off like a rocket, only to fall 75 yards from where you shot him. . 3 Day Guided Hunt-

Antelope Hunts
Rifle...
Your guide has been seeing some great bucks during his scouting efforts and has kept you posted through e-mail. Ever
anxiously you wait for opening day to arrive, knowing you will tag a trophy buck. The day is finally here and you and
your guide are sitting on a plateau overlooking some beautiful antelope habitat with several bucks in the distance. Deciding
which one to go after seems to be the hard part as you look them over through the spotting scope. Knowing a long shot
may be in order due to the openness of the terrain, you are thankful for the hours you spent in preparation for the hunt. As
you sit 350 yards from a trophy buck, one shot is all it takes and the buck is yours.
Archery...
There are several waterholes in the unit you drew and the plan is to sit in a ground blind awaiting an opportunity to present
itself. This summer your guide has been keeping tabs on the waterholes that have been getting the most activity. As
you sit there watching the antelope in the distance, you catch movement in the corner of your eye. Suddenly there he
is, making a beeline to the hole. You have previously ranged certain areas around you and know the far corner of the
hole is 52 yards. As the buck takes a drink you draw and hold steady until the time is right. He turns just a
little exposing his vitals and as you release, know the shot is true. The buck takes off quickly at first, you see him
slow down in the distance and then collapse

Javelina Hunts
Glassing the southern slope of a cactus covered mountain your guide mentions he has found a rather large group of javelina
(pigs) feeding in the sunlight on this chilly winter morning. The plan is simple, get close and call the pigs even closer.
At 50 yards you hear the social sounds of the feeding pigs as they tear apart the prickly pear cactus. Behind your position
your guide begins to call, and the mountainside comes alive with several of the pigs barreling directly at you. At full
draw you wait for one of them to stand still long enough for a shot, then at 10 feet a large boar gives you a broadside shot,
and you take it. The boar jumps, emitting a sound like no other you have ever heard as he rushes past you nearly brushing
your leg. The shot was true and you soon have your hands on a very unique trophy…What a rush!
3 Day Guided Hunt- $950.00 5 Day Guided Hunt- $1550.00 Additional days are available for $350.00/day per hunter
Turkey Hunts
Merriams turkeys are a vocal bunch this time of year, and as
you wake there are several gobbling around camp. Your guide leads the way to a strutting ground he has found and knows
quite a few birds are using the area. As the sun is about to crest the horizon, he begins calling with some soft yelps
and putts. Immediately several birds respond. As your guide continues to call one of the gobbles seems
to be getting closer, soon it is very close and your adrenaline begins to build. You catch some movement to your left,
it’s him and he’s coming. As the large tom reaches the edge of the strutting zone he goes into full display
mode at 35 yards. Waiting for a good shot he gobbles one more time, as his neck is stretched out, you let him have it. He’s
yours!
3 Day Guided Hunt- $950.00 5 Day Guided Hunt- $1550.00 Additional days are available for $350.00/day per hunter
Predator Hunts
You and your guide leave the truck and
use a wash as cover to get to the stand location undetected. As he begins the calling sequence your mind wanders thinking
of the possibilities of what is to come. In the distance you see a couple coyotes making their way toward you ready
and waiting. As they proceed you lose sight if them for just a moment, as they reappear they are at 30 yards searching
for the source of the call. Two quick shots and you get your double!
Predator hunts are available for $250.00/half
day and $400/day per hunter and can be booked for one through five days.
